2. Our interactive games and activations (QR code mini-games, arcade terminals, contests, surveys)

Depending on the activation, we may collect:

• Optional player data such as a nickname/pseudonym (for leaderboard display)

• Game-related data such as scores, leaderboards, time played, completion of steps, rewards triggered

• Survey or form answers if the activation includes a questionnaire

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as health data, religion, political opinions). Please do not submit sensitive data through our games or forms.
 

How we use this information

We process data to:

• Provide access to the game, features, leaderboards, and rewards

• Operate contests and activations (including fraud prevention and duplicate prevention)

• Generate aggregated insights (participations, estimated unique players, completion rate, interaction time, peak activity)

3) Client activations (games commissioned by a brand / event / venue)

Some activations are created for and operated with a client (a brand, event organizer, or venue). In those cases, the client may receive:

• Aggregated, non-identifying results (analytics and performance indicators)

If an activation includes email collection, email sharing with the commissioning client will only occur when:

• it is clearly stated at the point of collection, and

• you have provided the required consent/opt-in for that purpose (where applicable)

Depending on the project setup, the client may act as the data controller and Siro Games as a processor, or both parties may have shared responsibilities. If you have questions about a specific activation, contact us and we will clarify the applicable setup.
 

4) Data location & hosting

• Website: hosted and operated through Wix infrastructure.

• Games and activations: depending on the project, our games may be hosted on infrastructure provided by Wix, Infomaniak, or Cloudflare.
  When personal data that identifies you is collected (for example an email address), it is always stored on infrastructure located in Switzerland (Microsoft Azure, Zurich region).
  Where analytics or technical tools are used to operate and improve the experience, we minimize data and use anonymized or pseudonymized identifiers whenever possible.
   

5) Legal basis

We process personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

• Consent (for example, when you provide your email and/or opt in to marketing)

• Performance of a service (providing the activation, contest operations, reward delivery)

• Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service reliability, and improving performance and user experience)

You may withdraw your consent at any time.
 

6) Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

• Activation / contest data is typically retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a shorter period applies (e.g., campaign ended and the data is no longer needed)

• Security logs are kept for a limited period for protection and troubleshooting

You can request deletion earlier.

Depending on applicable law, you may request:
